DK the DJ (Dennis King)

I've been a part of Cleveland broadcasting for 40 years. I started as an intern at WSUM in Parma in the late 70's, later worked with WJW AM 850 from '83 to '85 as a board operator and sometimes on air production. I worked in Television at WUAB/ WOIO for 35 plus years starting in 1985 and ending in 2020. I did master/ satellite control work there. Currently I have a home business recording professional voice overs. It is called "DK's Voice Overs".
I did mobile DJ work for bars, private parties, weddings etc. for many years.
Have been hosting radio shows on WBWC 88.3 FM in Berea (Baldwin Wallace) since 1994. I am a 2013 WBWC Hall of fame inductee as voted in by the students at the station.
I currently host and have produced the "Island Time Radio" show since 2000. A three hour trop rock music show which also features interviews and call in segments. The show has been multi-nominated for "Trop rock radio show of the year" in the Trop Rock Music Association awards. The show won the award in 2014.

Ray Carr has been a mobile DJ since 1982, performing at weddings parties and hundreds of various functions, as well as a professional emcee at many charitable events such as the "Monster Mutt Dash" 5K race held in Berea each October to benefit "ARF" Animal Rescue Friends in Berea, Ohio.Ray is a radio host on WCSB 89.3FM in Cleveland since 2008, the program is called The Ray Carr Show, with co-host Cindi Verbelun. The program features eclectic music from the 50'-60's and 70's and fascinating interviews with local and national authors and many high profile celebrities. Some of the guests included: Wayne Newton, Jerry Lee Lewis, Micky Gilley, Petula Clark, Henry Winkler and many others.
Ray is a local trivia show host since 2014 at various Cleveland establishments.
Ray has done extensive public address work at Lakewood High school for Varsity Baseball, Basketball and Wrestling since 1997.
Ray is an avid music historian and a lifelong baseball enthusiast and player.
Ray attended Lakewood High School Class of 1981 and Cleveland State University.
